Sally is a self-taught Editorial, Beauty, and Fashion Photographer whose work has graced the covers and pages of various magazines, including Vogue Italia. Her ability to capture the essence of beauty is truly remarkable.

HOW DID YOU FIRST GET INTO PHOTOGRAPHY?
I initially wanted to become an illustrator, so I would take self-portraits as reference images. I loved dressing up and creating characters, which led me to pursue photography more. Now, it's been 15 years of creating! One of my favourite aspects of being a photographer is coming up with a story and styling it. I love a themed photoshoot.
WHEN ARE YOU AT YOUR MOST CREATIVE AND WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR BEST IDEAS FROM?
The weather makes me creative, to be honest. I always want to get out and shoot when the sun is out, especially during golden hour. My best ideas come from exploring different locations. I find an area can ignite my imagination and inspire me to create a narrative.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE OF ART /PHOTOGRAPHY?
It's kind of a mix of editorial meets fantasy, with some boudoir and fine art additions.
AS A FEMALE PHOTOGRAPHER / ARTIST, THAT’S BOTH IN FRONT OF AND BEHIND THE LENS, YOUR WORK RESONATES WITH WOMEN. HOW DO YOU VIEW PHOTOGRAPHY FROM THE FEMALE GAZE?
I love to photograph women for women. I don't tend to view them through the male eye. I tend to shoot from a low angle to show the woman as powerful and confident. The direction I give is to enhance her curves and figure without being overly sexual.
WHAT ARE YOUR BEST PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS FOR FEELING CONFIDENT IN LINGERIE?
Self-portraits! Whenever I am feeling low, and my confidence needs a boost I will put on a lingerie set that fits me beautifully and do a self-portrait photoshoot. And sometimes a little video just walking around. I would highly recommend a lingerie photoshoot to every woman.
WHAT WAS THE INSPIRATION /STYLE INSPIRATION BEHIND THIS SHOOT?
The location really inspired me. I wanted to go for that Tuscan beauty, getting ready for her evening date. Setting the tone before a romantic walk at sunrise in that special place. The Rosalia Waspie and Slip Slip Skirt with its vintage lace aesthetic lent itself perfectly to creating this feel, exuding an air of elegance and the timeless allure of beautiful designer lingerie.
